Question
Many variables impact the health of individuals and groups. An aggregate is a group or category of people with the same characteristic or need, such as the elderly, women who are pregnant, or people with type 2 diabetes. On the other hand, a community is made up of different aggregates which share a characteristic such as locale, socioeconomic status, environment, or belief system. In the role of the master's degree nurse, you will assess barriers vulnerable and high-risk populations-both aggregates and communities-face.
