Develop and implement a food safety program

Activity - FSP report

Purpose
For this task, students must communicate food safety programs, policies, procedures and product specifications to colleagues and ensure display of appropriate signage and access to information.
Role and participants
Operations Manager
Assume that you are the Operation Manager. You are responsible for making strategic decisions on establishing and monitoring risk control systems for food related hazards and as Feast of Flavours is a small restaurant you are also the food safety supervisor having completed the required training.
Owner
For the purpose of this activity the Owner of the business will be your Trainer/Assessor.
Tasks to be performed
Write a report to demonstrate the implantation process of the new FSP. The report must cover:
Communication of FSP
Feedback received Get It Done Today!
Training session - evaluation assessment and staff understanding
Summarise how you will ensure that policies and procedures are followed
Describe how will you manage incidents and corrective actions
Describe how you will ensure document management
Describe how you will assist with external audits
Describe the records that are required for legislative requirements and compliance
Describe consultation process for monitoring and assessing the FSP.
Email the owner the FSP report including a summary of the actions taken in the development of the FSP, how you intend to implement and monitor it including conducting an internal audit before the official inspection that will be conducted by the local council inspector.

A copy of the FSP
