His physicians recommend chemotherapy, but Ralph prefers not to have chemotherapy, as he is concerned about the cost, and would rather have the money spent on his eight grandchildren. Ralph's family, the pastor at his church, and his health care team are all seeming to be weighing in on the decision. Describe three ethical issues that might be considered in this case. For each ethical principle: (1) Name the ethical principle, (2) Define and describe the principle, (3) Describe how the ethical principle applies to Ralph's case.
