Rae is training for her first half triathlon (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bicycle, 13.1 mile run).

She works out in the pool every morning at 6:00 a.m. for one hour. The pool workouts vary, but she always includes a series of 5 all out sprints in which she alternates sprinting the length of the pool, slowly swimming back to the other end, and repeating until she has her 5 sprints completed. She also goes for a 50-70 minute run or bike four afternoons a week. On Saturday she goes for her longest run of the week for 2.5 or more hours. She is 5'10" and 165 pounds. She feels exhausted during and after her workouts. After her long run she feels dizzy and notices her urine is much darker. Her weight has been stable. She is a vegetarian and has been avoiding foods containing gluten (wheat, rye, barley).
