Scenario : Depression in an Adult

Charles is a 45-year-old accountant who recently separated from his wife and is going through a bitter custody battle for his two children. Charles was recently injured at work and is now permanently disabled. He lives on a fixed budget limited to his disability payments. The work-related injury also caused cognitive issues that created various behavior changes from manic to depressive states. Charles self-medicates with various substances to treat the changes in his cognitive states.
