Find sample size, mean and standard deviation for the binomial distribution.

Forest Fires: Satellite Detection The National Forest Service uses satellites with infrared sensors to defect forest fires in remote wilderness areas. The satellites are very sensitive and do find all the hot spots. However, the satellites register geothermal hot spots, cloud cover, manmade bonfires, etc., as well as hot spots caused by forest fires. Over a period of years, the Forest Service has decided that only 85% of the hot spots reported by the satellite are forest fires. The usual procedure is to send out a reconnaissance plane to check on what the satellite has detected. Let us say that the satellite was successful if it reports a hot spot that is a forest fire.
Recently, the satellite reported nine hot spots in the remote Seward Peninsula of Alaska.

a) Based on the satellite information, what is the expected number µ of real forest fires on the Seward Peninsula?
b) What is the standard deviation σ?
c) How many hot spots must the satellite report to be 99.9% sure of at least on real forest fire?
