Question

The study's dependent variable is employee performance and motivation, with a specific emphasis on the public sector in the Bahamas. To operationalize this variable, an employee survey was employed to civil servants centering on question 2 on the Likert Scale that assessed self-reported motivation and performance levels. Participants were asked to indicate how frequently they feel to perform at their best with options ranging from 1(Never), 2 (Rarely), 3 (Sometimes), 4 (Often), and 5 (Always). The responses to this question help measure the dependent variable of public sector motivation and performance in the Bahamas. To complement this data, insights were acquired through interviews with senor administrators from each department. These interviews contained six targeted meant for comprehending the factors influencing the dependent variable. These questions included:

1. How do you assess the current level of employee motivation within your organization?

2. What strategies do you believe are the most effective in enhancing employee performance?

3. Can you describe the role of training programs in your organization and how they impact employee motivation and performance?

4. How do you evaluate the success of the incentives offered to employees?

5. In your opinion, what leadership styles are most effective in motivating employees and improving performance.
