A study was conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of an investigational drug product in reducing the number of epileptic seizures in patients who have not been helped by standard therapy. Thirty patients participated in the study, with 15 randomized to the drug treatment group and 15 to the placebo group. Patient demographic data are displayed here.
