The concentration of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) in a new beverage is to be determined using a new electrochemical sensor.
A 20.00 mL sample of the beverage gave a reading of 2.05 µA. A second aliquot of 20.00 mL was spiked with 1.0 mL of 0.0804 M ascorbic acid.
The spiked sample gave a reading of 3.86 µA.
