Assessment item 1: Emerging business ethics issues This assessment item requires you to write a literature review on the topic of emerging business ethics issues. You are to research in the University's online academic databases for recent journal publications on one the topic of human rights and the exploitation of labour. In developed economies, this has been considered an international issue rather than one that has been emerging domestically. You will see that human rights is discussed in Chapter 10 of your textbook instead of Chapter 3. However, it is an issue that has quite suddenly "emerged" in Australia due to a Four Corners report (you can see it here). You must focus your research to a business ethics perspective. Your literature review must include at least three academic journal articles published after 2010. You are not required to focus on any particular country, but please review Assessment Item 2 and plan for what you want to do in that assignment. This will involve searching your course material, textbook, and online research databases for suitable, relevant material, which must be properly cited and referenced using the Harvard referencing method. The literature review is to be presented in a simplified report format, consisting of an introduction, the report body (the literature review), a conclusion and a reference list. The report must be fully referenced using the Harvard method. A link to the appropriate guide to the Harvard method is provided elsewhere in this course profile. The body of the report is not to exceed 1,000 words.
