Physical Issues: Ms. Franco is a 44 year old hispanic woman, who has a history of breast cancer, currently high BMI, history of gastric bypass, hypertension, and suffers from severe anxiety. She is the mother of 2, her job is desk bound, and has minimal physical activity. She presented to the ED with complex symptoms affecting her thoracic area for 4 days . Her symptoms consist of deep chest pain radiating from the chest all the way to her back, which gets worse when lying down. Other symptoms currently are dyspnea, harsh cough with a brassy quality that she mentions disrupts her sleep, and vocal weakness (Hinkle et al., 2022). She also reports difficulty swallowing, eating solid foods, and she now has transited to puree or soft/ liquid foods (Hinkle et al., 2022).
