You should prepare a 3,000-word report on the people resourcing strategy used by a company in Oman. This report should contain your critical review of the existing strategy and supporte by literature review.

Use the following guidelines in the preparation of your report. Use secondary data only.

1. Student should choose an existing company in Oman and write a company overview and background.

2. Select ONE people resourcing strategy below and provide a literature review about the topic. Analyse the role and effectiveness of the chosen people resourcing strategy to attract, select, develop, retain and motivate people within the chosen organisation.
A. HR planning
B. Recruitment and Selection
C. Performance Management
D. Retention Management
E. Learning and Development F. Talent management

3. Provide a critical analysis on how the chosen topic is being practiced in the company. Explain the practices and policies being implemented by the company and evaluate if these are aligned with its business directions in achieving its long term goals and objectives.

4. Evaluate this strategy using Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats.

5. Provide Conclusion and Recommendation. Based from the analysis, students need to draw a conclusion and provide some recommendations for the success in implementing the HR strategy.

6. References. Students need to provide 10 references from varied sources using Harvard referencing.

III RELATED THEORIES (chosen People Resource strategy)
Include related theories/literatures on the chosen People Resource Strategy from books, e-books, Journals, Websites, thesis among others. In text citation is needed.

4.1 Critical analysis on how the company practises/implement the specific PR
strategy.
Provide clear explanation of how the PR strategy is being practised and implemented in the company.
4.2 Evaluation if the chosen PR strategies are aligned with the business directions of the company. Establish the link between the company directions and the practices of HR strategy.
4.3 Evaluation of the PR strategy using Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT)

V CONCLUSION/RECOMMENDATION
Provide summary of the analysis to answer the objectives cited. Suggest some Recommendations.
