Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Management
In this assignment, your task is to analyse a current CEO of a medium or large organisation (local or international), and to provide actionable recommendations on how they can develop their leadership to address key challenges either within the organisation, or broader industry. Use only the theories, concepts, and frameworks that we have explored in the unit materials (i.e., modules 1-6) and apply them as you see fit to this leader, in order to make sense of their leadership strengths and weaknesses in their organisation. This understanding will provide the foundation to the leadership advice you will provide.
Learning Outcome 1: Critically evaluate a variety of advanced leadership and stakeholder management concepts, theories and frameworks and their application to effective practice.
Preparation
Before starting this assignment, you should read the instructions below, review the marking rubric and raise any concerns with your lecturer. An important step in this process is to select a CEO to examine. Establish that enough information is publicly available about this leader, as you will need this to execute this task. Please also contact your workshop lecturer to confirm the leader that you have chosen to study (before you start to actively work on your analysis).

Your submission should include the following:
1. A title page
2. A contents page
3. A brief introduction of the selected CEO.
4. An assessment of the selected CEO's strengths and weaknesses
5. Conclusion - an overview of leader recommendations
6. References
Hereby some further guidance for some of the sections:
Section 3. A brief introduction of the selected CEO (400 words)
Start with a brief outline of what is to follow. This helps the reader to anticipate the content of the analysis and to understand its scope. Briefly introduce the selected CEO of a medium or large organisation (local or international) and provide an explanation for why you have selected this specific CEO.
Section 4. An assessment of the selected CEO's strengths and weaknesses (1200 words)
This section involves a critical analysis of the selected CEO's leadership and stakeholder management strengths and weaknesses. This analysis should only use the theories, concepts, and frameworks that we have discussed in the unit (i.e., modules 1-6). The section should conclude with a summary of the leader's strengths and weaknesses (with 5-6 factors being identified).
Section 5. Conclusion - an overview of leader recommendations (400 words)
Building upon the identified core leadership strengths and weaknesses, you are to provide 3 actionable recommendations to the leader. Note that this could involve further strengthening some of the leader's strengths but also addressing some of their weaknesses. In this section it is important to link the recommendation back to your analysis. This section is also the conclusion of this assignment (so no separate conclusion is needed).

An absolute minimum of 10 quality sources needs to be provided in support of your analysis.
