Instructions to complete the task

  1. You are required to create specific procedures for the WHS management plan.
  2. You are to complete seven WHS procedures under the WHS management plan for employees to follow at the Kingfisher Convention Centre and Warblers Café (or your workplace or training organisation) 
  3. You may need to research appropriate procedures.
  4. You could choose seven from the following areas to complete the WHS procedures
  5. First aid procedures
  6. Manual handling procedures
  7. Use of personal protective clothing and equipment
  8. Handling hot substances and equipment
  9. Reporting procedures for first aid, incidents and accidents 
  10. Emergency procedures for bomb threat, suspicious phone calls, emergency evacuation
  11. Procedures to protect staff from customers (dealing with abusive, aggressive intoxicated or drug-affected customers) 
  12. Procedures to protect staff from other staff (bullying, safe work environment)
  13. Procedures to protect customers (premises security, food handling, cleaning)
  14. Use the WHS procedures template given by your assessor to complete the above seven procedures.
  15. Use the Kingfisher Garner Centre Background information to help you if required.
