Assignment:

Create a scenario for a Criminal Law case, on the topic of Robbery and Extortion from the criminal code of Canada British Columbia. The case created should describe the people involved, the circumstances and events that gave rise to the offence, actus reus and mens rea that needs to be proven, maximum penalty available for that offence, enough evidence to establish that an offence occurred and information that would support the sentencing.

The case should be five thousand words. It should also include all the above information as well as criminal code provisions and case law to support the arguments. Present the case as a crown counsel. Assume the case is being presented in the court.

First introduce yourself as crown counsel, then explain the scenario along with evidence that supports the case. Then go over submission with supporting statutory law (Criminal Code provisions) and Case Law (minimum 2 and maximum 5). Canada, British Columbia.
