Jessica, a 14 year-old Muslim girl, was found cuddled up in the corner of the front of the fire department. She was covered with a heavy blanket and rocking a newborn baby while saying prayers to herself, sobbing and asking for her mother's help. She had the baby in the nearby park bathroom. The paramedics bring her and the baby to the emergency room stating that her parents refuse to have her come back to their house nor will any of her relatives take her in. Her baby's father, strict Catholic, wants no further contact. Her girlfriend has helped but her parents don't want her to have any further contact. Jessica wants to keep her baby and finish school but has no support. She is desperately clutching her baby. 4 interrelated concepts.
