A 16-year-old girl is admitted to a youth partial hospitalization program by county child protective services who have temporary custody due to her runaway behaviors placing her at risk. She stays in a locked children's shelter during the nights and weekends. The patient's father is not involved, and her mother has Huntington disease and is unable to supervise her. Child protective services is concerned that the patient became involved with adult men from the internet during her runaway periods.
