You already provided an example of how we would use regression then a minitab example for the forecast, but would you mind providing an example of how to come up with this same result using a multiple regression model (from your word doc below).

So construct a multiple regression model for predicting the crime rate based upon various explanatory variables unemployment rate, median income, education level. Then use the model to obtain the predicted values for each of the city for the year 2012. Use these predicted values as the initial forecasts for the year 2013, and compare the actual numbers with these forecasts we can perform the required analysis.
