Choose a known pathogen of your choice. Consider how the pathogen enters the body, which barriers exist, which innate responses fight it off, and if there is immunity after infection or an available vaccine.

You must choose a specific organism (i.e., Salmonella, rhinovirus, T. pallidum that causes syphilis) and not an overall category of organism (NOT bacteria or viruses). LOOK before you post, each person must choose a different pathogen. NO ONE may use SARS-CoV2 (COVID19).

Don't feel the need to get too complicated - choose barriers based on how you get the disease and innate responses based on which cells go after viruses, bacteria, parasites.
