Now consider the pertussis bacterium (the source of whooping cough). People get infected and once infected they can spread the disease. After a period of time they recover from the disease. But pertussis immunity is not permanent. After 4 years (actually it is a range of 4-20 years - but we will just think about the short end of the scale) you can become infected again (and be infectious while infected). Write the set of equations based on the SIR model that account for this dynamic.

Hint: consider how we got cycles from the logistic equation by introducing a lag term (that approach will likely be helpful here).
