Question

The three combinations of "chemicals associated with malformations" that were the highest were plastics/ chromosomal anomalies, metals/nervous system anomalies, pesticides/oral clefts. Plastics, metals, and pesticides seem to be associated with the occurrence of the congenital malformations according to the odds ratio. This tables shows the correlation between the chemicals and the probabilities with which these are associated with a particular congenital malformation in the cases. The combinations that have the highest odds ratio value are more likely to be linked to each other and the chemicals have a fairly high chance that they actually cause the associated anomaly in the cases observed.
