Question

A registrar has collected a pretransfusion sample from a patient on the ward. He hands you the unlabelled blood tube and request form, and then asks you to label it and send it to the laboratory. What is the appropriate response to this practice? Take the tube into the patient's room and ensure the patient details are correct before you label it Label the sample.
