State the hypothesis and calculate the test statistic for proportion:

1. In a random sample of 400 persons who were given a flu vaccine, 136 said that they experienced some type of discomfort. Construct a 95% confidence interval for the proportion of all those who experience some type of discomfort.

2. Do the data provide sufficient evidence to conclude that the proportion of those who experience some type of discomfort is more than 30%? Answer the question using the following steps

a. State the null and alternative hypotheses.

b. Calculate the test statistics. Show your work.
