The HR Research Paper assignment will give you the opportunity to apply the HR case knowledge that you have learned in this class to a real company (application of the material). The company that you choose can be a Fortune-500-Company, non-profit, or a government based company. It can also be a company where you have worked or currently work.

Instructions: Each student will select a Company. You will conduct research on that company's Human Resources programs, features, functions, and attributes. Consult the company's website, scholarly business sources, trade journals, business magazines, the internet, and any other applicable sources to obtain HR facts about your selected company. Here are a few ideas that you may want to cover in your paper. This is only a guide- feel free to add or take away any other important / relevant HR program features:

Due class #4. Each student must write a 5-page double spaced research paper, highlighting the human resource programs, on a selected company. Print it out and bring to class #4 to turn in. The 5-page (double spaced) requirement does not include the cover page or the reference page. APA writing format is required. Please remember to provide proper in-text citations for all facts and definitions in your paper. Research paper is due Class #4. Late papers will not be accepted.
