There are many concerns and issues in my current practice area. It was honestly hard to pick just one to focus on solely. Some of these issues boil down to the most the common old age issue of staffing. However instead of discussing an issue that has been discussed timelessly over and over again, I will discuss the issue of improper admission planning, which lumps in a few other "smaller" issues of the unit as well. With this issue effecting so many levels and will need changes at each level to improve the issue this qualifies it as effecting the mesosystem. It effects the transplant clinic, the unit, the nurses, the patients, the hospital, the insurance companies, and many interdisciplinary colleagues such as, coordinators, outside labs processing the tranplants/cells, transport of the cells, etc.
