The employer distributed an article from a local newspaper concerning Ford’s decision to move a parts contract from a supplier whose workforce had gone out on strike, emphasizing that the striking union was the UAW, the same Union trying to organize this Company. On January 20th, the Company told the employees that negotiations on a renewal contract with Ford for parts was being held in abeyance until the outcome of the union election. Although Ford also had issues of quality and delivery to discuss that was not revealed to the employees. The news article and the information about the Ford contract, as far as they went, were all factual. Please discuss the ULP issues.
