Write For this journal assignment, you will explore your own identities by addressing the following: Considering at least three of your core identities, explain how each impacts (or is noticeable in) your daily life. Of the identities you listed, describe how one has dominated your overall identity. Does this identity vary depending on the social context you may be in? In other words, does the identity vary throughout the day depending on your social situation? Be sure to explain why or why not. Thinking about these identities, outline how your membership in associated groups leads you to experience certain privileges or certain inequalities.

Give examples of these privileges or inequalities. Articulate how your chosen identities are placed in the Diversity Wheel and where implicit bias defines how others interact with you. Using the concept of intersectionality and any part of the text readings for this week, evaluate your core identities in terms of privilege and inequality.
