The concept of cultural diffusion is an important foundation for understanding how the cultural landscape develops. What diffusion of ideas do you see today? Mediterranean Food? Middle East Food

The development of the cultural landscape is the result of the interaction between various social, cultural, geographical and political interaction between various part of the society. Places generally have unique association with their natural landscape and often modified by the human cultural modifications. We often struck by similarity of culture elements in different groups of people that are geographically separated from each other for example the presence of pottery items made in Khurja (a small town in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India) in different parts of the world or the use of French perfume by people across the globe certainly shows that culture from one part of the world is spreading to other part of the world. Another important example include the cuisine which is now the most common phenomena. The American McDonalds and Chinese food is become very trendy all over the world. The diffusion ideas such as food, clothes are now becoming global and one of the significant attributes in the diffusion of culture. The  Mediterranean Food and Middle East Food has seen great adaptation in the North America and European countries. These all shows that the concept of cultural diffusion is an important foundation for understanding how the cultural landscape develops.

However, you've made an excellent case for just how important diffusion is to human culture.  It almost seems as though you can't not think of diffusion when considering where cultural traits come from.  Here's a real challenge: Can you think of something that hasn't diffused?  What about using an example within the realm of SW Asia and North Africa?
