It is very common to complain about one's boss. There are many examples in TV, movies, and real life of bullying and harassment. In a recent survey it was reported that 20% of workers say that a manager has hurt their career. A random sample of 500 workers in the retail industry was obtained, and 115 indicated that a boss had hurt their career.

a. Identify n, x, and p0.

b. Check the nonskewness criterion. Is a large-sample hypothesis test about p appropriate?

c. Conduct the appropriate hypothesis test to determine whether the proportion of workers in the retail industry who believe a boss has hurt their career is different from p0. Use a = 0.05.

d. Compute the p value associated with this test.
