In some courses a late submission may be accepted with penalties applied as determined by the course lecturer, but this will be the exception rather than the rule. Applications for the extension of a due date for assignment and/or project work may be considered, and must be made to the relevant lecturer in writing prior to the occurrence of the due date. The reasons for such application must be given, and any supporting documentary evidence must be included. Notification of any extension granted will be in writing. Submission dates contained in a course guide may be altered by a course lecturer with the agreement of a majority of the students enrolled in the class concerned.
