Patient is a 42-year-old male who works as a carpenter with complaints of jerky involuntary movements which have become more pronounced in the last few months. He first noticed that he was unable to grip his hammer at work. He felt that his symptoms were related to caffeine intake in the beginning but have become worse and is now impacting his ability to perform his job duties. He has been having some increased stress at home due to financial issues due to a possible work layoff. His wife recommended he be seen for evaluation. His paternal grandfather was diagnosed with Huntington's disease at 48 years old. The patient has been diagnosed with Huntington's disease, as well.
