An older woman complains of having difficulty doing her needlework which is her favorite hobby because of a hand tremor. She has no difficulty walking and no rigidity in her movement is noted. When she places her hands in her lap, the shaking in her hands stops. The woman appears sad and distressed by the tremor. What treatment, if any, is appropriate for this patient?
