Value-based care is focused on providing care that is effective, applied judiciously and documented accurately (Medical Advantage, 2022). Also value based care is more cost effective in the long run but focuses on the providers to help the patients out with their illnesses in a more detailed manner.

Fee for service is where the providers get paid on any services, they provide to patients regardless of how a patient's illness is going and does not focus on building relationships with patients like the valued based care does.
