Background:
You most likely have head of Tesla Motors, Inc. It is a US based automotive and energy storage company that designs, manufactures, and sells electric cars , electric vehicle powertrain components, and battery products. It is a public company that trades on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the symbol TSLA.
In the spring of 2016 started to take pre-orders of a new car, the Tesla Model 3. By May 15, 2016 the reservations were around 400,000 units. On that date there was not a production plan built for a car that is supposed to start being delivered by late 2017. Many are wondering if Tesla can really deliver. Many question the company's ability to deliver.
Looking back, Tesla had to face the figures that are almost four times the total number of cars that they have made in the span of eight years, according to Bloomberg . Many are still hoping that the Tesla Model 3 will hit the roads sooner than expected. Nevertheless, the Tesla Model 3 may also experience the same thing as previous Tesla's production history and legacy.
As the world awaits the coming of the much-anticipated car, many are hoping that Tesla can truly get the job done and ensure the world of its quality and that it can constantly keep pace with the momentum.
