A client has recently been diagnosed with glaucoma and has been prescribed bimatoprost, 1 drop daily, at bedtime. The nurse will instruct the client to perform which action when self-administering the medication? Gently rub the closed eye after administration to ensure even distribution. Avoid blinking for 30 seconds after instilling the medication. Do not administer the medication within 1 hour of any other eye medications. Store the medication in the freezer but allow it to reach room temperature before each dose.
