According to Garg (2007) more than three-fourths of Internet users are also mobile subscribers. This is a huge number considering that mobile technology was introduced in 1980. Mobile telephone systems can be classified into generations. The first generation was analog and used frequency modulation. With the popularity of first-generation telephony, a second generation was introduced with digital technology, using time division multiplexing (TDMA) or code division multiplexing (CDMA).
