65-year-old male with a history of angina which has been getting progressively worse of the last week. He has a history of hypercholesterolemia and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He had a previous Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) 5 years ago. Upon admission, he was sent to the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and a cardiac catheterization revealed triple vessel coronary artery disease. Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) surgery was scheduled for 2 days now.
