Regina Lipsey is a 68-year-old female who lives alone in a mobile home community. She has a history of obesity, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, and oxygen dependence. She receives assistance with activities of daily living through a volunteer caregiver from her church. Because of Ms. Lipsey's oxygen dependence and shortness of breath, she is unable to tolerate extended periods of activity. She is able to prepare simple meals for herself and prefers to use frozen meals and soups because they are easier for her to cook in the microwave.
