I feel that this model can significantly impact positive outcomes for children and families, especially when viewed from the perspective of a tenured Child Protective Services (CPS) worker. CBC allows for services that are specifically tailored to the unique cultural, demographic, and socioeconomic needs of the community. Decisions are made closer to where the families reside, ensuring that the interventions and supports are more relevant and effective. Local services mean that families can access help and resources more easily, reducing barriers related to transportation and awareness. Resources can be allocated based on immediate and practical needs that are better understood by local service providers. CBC fosters collaboration among local agencies, schools, healthcare.
