Research Aims

To evaluate and assess the potential AI techniques that can be adopted by airlines and airports in an endeavour to upraise and remould the overall passenger experience. Moreover, to implement these AI techniques into a mobile application that will help upsurge the passenger experience.

Objective 1. To design and develop a mobile application with attributes comprising of smart assistants, smart language translators amongst others to effectuate individualized experience.
Objective 2. To formulate a feature in the app that enables passengers to track their baggage using the unique computer-generated Quick Response (QR) code.
Objective 3. To understand and incorporate Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence(AI) into the mobile application for easier indoor navigation around airports.
Objective 4. To amalgamate in-flight entertainment operations within the mobile application to generate effectual and customized content offering.
