Calls for Health and Wellness Service Providers stood out to me because it is important for Indigenous Peoples, including 2SLGBTQQIA and those who suffered from traumatic stressors to request support for healing. Moving forward, it is equally important for our province to introduce a Bill concerning suicide prevention and additional funding for mental health awareness especially to lower classes and rural areas.

Calls for Media and Social Influencers stood out to me because new residents and older generations are not aware of issues concerning Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA people. In order to address discriminatory stereotypes, the Media has the platform to shape the audience's way of seeing things and enhancing our knowledge by trying to empathize with the survivors and listen to their perspectives. However today, the media is often depicted as a negative or positive source of information.

I believe Calls for Health and Wellness Service Providers needs to be implemented immediately by the government because for rural areas especially in Saskatchewan, there have been high rates of suicide amongst younger age groups and high reports of drug overdoses. Due to the lack of resources, many are suffering and even commit suicide. However, what is even appalling is that the Saskatchewan Party rejected a suicide prevention bill that would have recognized suicide as a public health issue. In my opinion, the government needs to respond against the media from spreading negative and false information and take responsibility in addressing these issues. As well as increase funding for Indigenous communities and support programs for mental health and addictions.
