Wastewater from a paper mill contains ultimate BOD of 200ppm and DO of 3ppm, water is discharged at a rate of 100,000 gallons per day into a river, the river has a flow of 1 million gallons per day with no BOD, the DO is equal to the DOs of 9.09ppm, calculate the ultimate BOD where the discharge and the river meet?
