I performed a new self-assessment at the end of my last practicum. I rate myself on clinical skills to be mostly confident and confident than been new and beginning based on my experiences during my last practicum (PRAC 6568: Synthesis in Advanced Nursing Practice of Patients in Family Care Settings Practicum). I accomplished a lot of clinical skills and procedures such as pelvic exam, STI testing, cerumen impaction removal, pap smear, interpret laboratory/diagnostic test, and contraceptive management. What I couldn't accomplish are HARK screening, EPPDS screening, testicular exam, prostate exam/DRE, Fluorescein staining, Wood's Light Examination, Corneal Foreign Body Removal etc.
