HPI: 35-year-old male presents to the clinic with a 3-day history of increasing redness in his left foot. He reports he was at the beach with his kids and stepped on a sharp shell. He doesn't remember it hurting that badly, but yesterday he noticed his foot was swelling a bit, and this morning he saw some red "streaks" going into his ankle. He has not had any fever or chills and has just put some antibiotic ointment on this. He reports his last tetanus vaccination was ~12 years ago.
