Assignment:

You are a charge nurse in a very busy ICU which focuses on alteration in elimination.

You are concerned as the charge nurse that some of the medical students, licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners' & nursing assistants seem unable to recognize those clients in distress and do not always communicate effectively.

Therefore, you have decided to create an educational program that all inter-professionals (disciplines) must complete successfully. The focus is on alteration in elimination and communication.

Using what you have learned in your textbook reading assignment, create a program for your team members that will increase competence in gastrointestinal and urinary assessment and communiacation.

While creating this project, keep in mind the following: You are creating program that will cover all disciplines so you can create the program anyway you want but explain your actions.
