- Being professional is important in all types of communication, including how we behave, look, and communicate verbally, in writing, and online. Upholding high standards of professionalism helps us communicate effectively. Using technology in a responsible and appropriate way is key to achieving good results in our work.
- Getting help from supervisors and colleagues can improve how a professional makes decisions and acts. It is important to ask experienced coworkers for advice when facing choices in your job. Use social work principles and have meaningful conversations with clients and others involved in the situation.
