Conduct an audio interview someone who has first-hand experience with the sport you analyzed. The interview must be at least 10 minutes in length. Upload your file along with your written analysis.

Begin your interview by asking permission to use the information for your class project. Ask the person if you have permission to use their name or if they prefer to be anonymous. Ask the person questions, and listen carefully (the goal is not to have a conversation, but to document and to listen to their opinions).

Develop your own questions that are not leading questions and are as neutral as possible. The questions should elicit opinions about the culture of the sport you are studying, and consider how the sport creates, reproduces, maintains, or challenges cultural norms about age, sexuality, nationalism, citizenship, race, gender, abilities, income, language, etc.

Analyze the responses of your interview subject and connect them to ideas we've discussed in class (do the responses support or challenge ideas we've read or talked about?). Be sure to cite class sources.
