Assessment Description This individual assessment aims to assess students' ability to apply operations management skills, tools and techniques in a business context, appraise quality improvement processes and performance metrics in a variety of business contexts and explain the results of operations analysis to relevant stakeholders by proposing recommendations for improvement. Assessment Instructions As a case study, you will analyse Look Bicycles. By watching this video, you will find more information about how the Look frames are being developed and designed. The processes involved will be the basis for this assessment. Your first task is to provide a summary of the processes involved and identify the key steps in carbon bicycle production, imagining that this may be used as a guide by the production consultant. Your second task is to complete a risk analysis using an appropriate framework you've studied. You are to identify eight of the most significant risks and detail how these risks could be mitigated. Finally, from the steps detailed in the video, identify three key processes and suggest ways that they can be improved using the appropriate methodologies and concepts.
