Jack Zambrano, a 9-year-old boy, came home from his afterschool program feeling sick. When his mother asked him what was wrong, he said, "I feel sick to my stomach, I'm tired, and my head hurts." Jack's mother helped him to bed and took his temperature, which was 102°F. Jack refused to eat his dinner after a couple of bites. His mother calls the health clinic where you work. While conducting the assessment, you learn Jack's parents are Hispanic and came to live in the United States when Jack was 2 years old. Jack and his family travel annually to Mexico to visit his grandparents and extended family members. The family returned from Mexico 2 weeks ago. Jack's immunization record is incomplete.
