Also, you should consider the cost of educational material and snacks. On the other hand, this course will be offered next month at a hospital located about 150 miles from your hospital. The cost per participant will be $ 200 for each one. As you can see, you have several decisions to make. Will the class be offered locally? How will you organize it? Is it compulsory for your staff to attend this activity or will it be recommended? If it is compulsory, does the unit have to finance all this activity? Will you pay your staff regular work hours to attend that activity? Will this certification be cost effective?
